Situated in the picturesque Welsh village of Solva, Pen Y Banc offers two beautiful bed and breakfast rooms as well as a self catering holiday apartment. With stunning views looking out across St Brides bay and easy access to the Pembrokshire coast path, Pen Y Banc is the perfect place for your holiday, within easy walking distance to the pubs, restaurants and the local shop/post office.

A beatiful area

The village of Solva in the National Park of Pembrokeshire, offers the visitor a wealth of unspoilt coastline. The Fiord like harbour forms a safe anchorage: there are sands, rock pools and caves. Bathing can be enjoyed and the sailing enthusiast, fisherman, diver, ornithologist will discover a really spectacular area of interest.

The two Bed & Breakfast rooms both benefit from gorgeous sea views and come with king size double beds and en-suite bathrooms complete with pure Egyptian bed linen and pure cotton bath towels. Our extensive breakfast menu is served in our dining room overlooking St Brides Bay. We also provide a small fridge for our guests to use.

Enjoy and relax on Newgale beach

Enormous! is the only way to describe this beach; it's almost 2 miles of sand backed by a huge pebble bank formed after a BIG storm in 1859. Kitesurfing and surfing are popular on this beach and tuition is available. Walk right down to the southern end to find a walk-through cave and numerous sheltered bays.

There are many interesting activities from the St. Davids Cathedral to the stunning beaches that surround Ramsey Island. Escaping from the crowded city but still like to be active? Do not hesitate to visit us as there are plenty of things to do around Solva!
